The first tale involves a large initial pin sold at a party last spring. Apparently, they all knew about Daddy Bigbucks and his big mouth. The guest just shook her head and laughed with her friends and cohorts. She admitted that she’d always been skeptical about it. While the pin didn’t bring her riches, she relished the five-hundred dollar check for the pile of real gold she’d amassed from her other exes. At the end of the night, guests were still talking about the pin and the awesome check she’d received.
Those weren’t the only screams heard at recent gold parties. Here’s another case where excitement took an audible toll.
Although music rocked the house, it wasn’t the radio that spurred an urgent visit by a concerned neighbor during a gold party last summer. It was the din of screams that startled her. Finally, the hostess’ words came out in the form of grateful tears. For the consultants, it was one of the most memorable parties ever – and that had everything AND nothing to do with the total.
